Crisis is part of being human.
When we’re in a crisis, the mind can play a trick on us — suddenly, all the coping strategies and supports we rely on can feel out of reach. That’s why I encourage everyone to have a Safety & Soothing Plan ready.
Consider creating your plan with your mental health provider or alongside a trusted Wise Woman when you’re not in crisis, and revise it as often as you need.
